Four bands from Paris – including Popincourt – have participated to “Gifted – a Tribute to the Jam” to pay tribute to one of Britain’s most seminal bands.

A unique chance to see them playing together on December 2nd !

Back in February, I had the chance to assist “François Buzz On Web” and interview my mates from French Boutik: full interview here (in French) !

I had the chance to play keyboards on “Front Pop” the first French Boutik album and we did together a gig at the Legendary 100 Club in London in November 2016. Here is a nice video of the song “Impitoyable” using photos of this show from legendary photographer Derek D’Souza. Enjoy !  

Specialized is a musical community concept that was created in 2012 to raise funds to improve the lives of teens and young adults with cancer or who are living in difficult circumstances. Since 2012, the Specialized Project has released five highly acclaimed tribute albums celebrating The Specials, The Beat, Madness, The Clash and most recently Bob Marley. In 2017, the band chosen is…The Jam !

Popincourt will be be part of this initiative ! I went to the studio in great company (Hervé Bouétard – Drums, Fred Jimenez – Bass, Nicolas Dufournet – Sound Engineer) on Dec, 19th to record “Tonight At Noon” from the Jam second album “This Is A Modern World” @ Melodium Studio.
